Day one of my Inaugural weekend coverage. I went to our Nations Capital to document what I saw unfold before me. With some of my favorite photographers being photojournalist, I have studied their work trying to understand how they would document with an unbiased perspective sharing what they saw first hand. This is my attempt to display, literally, what I saw.

This is an incredibly insane time to live in the United States right now. Half of the country is celebrating the victory of their candidate, and the other half of the country is scared, vulnerable, upset, and terrified about their future. I have never been good with words. Putting my thoughts onto paper, or into a 140 character mold, but photography has become that medium in which I communicate. Below, is journal one of the day before the Inauguration. Where Trump supports gathered to celebrate their candidate taking taking the oval office.
